Medi Bioactive Honey Company was established in 2009 after conducting extensive research into the powerful properties of the Australian leptospermum polygalifolium honey, more commonly known as Manuka. Medi Bioactive Honey Company is the sister company of The Australian Organic Honey Company, which has been in the organic eucalypt honey business for some 20 plus years, selling domestically, and into export markets. The Directors agreed that Medi Bioactive Honey should also be organic, and comply with BFA/ACO standards to meet organic certification requirements. Having the commitment of our bee keepers and our staff, we have been able to produce arguably the world’s strongest and stable manuka honey, measuring an amazing 1750MGO (The State of Queensland, Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation, 2010). Medi Bioactive Honey has a commitment to ongoing research into the amazing properties of this honey, and its diverse applications.
